SetSage Acceptable Use and Complaints Policy
This policy is part of the SetSage Terms of Use. It explains what you must not do with SetSage, and how we deal with reports and complaints.
1. Please don't
Misuse the connector
- Share, sell or publish your connector link, or use someone else's.
- Use the connector to reach anyone else's data, or try to guess links.
- Send requests faster or in greater volume than normal use by your AI agent needs, or use the connector to copy our exercise library or service.
- Tell an AI to log workouts you didn't do, or to get around SetSage's limits.
Attack or copy SetSage
- Try to get into our systems, other people's accounts or data you're not allowed to see.
- Test our security without our written permission. If you find a weakness, please report it (see below).
- Upload viruses or harmful code, or overload or disrupt our servers.
- Copy, decompile or reverse-engineer SetSage, except as the law allows.
- Get around Pro, SetSage AI limits or Google Play billing.
Break the law or abuse people
- Use SetSage for anything illegal or fraudulent.
- Abuse, threaten or harass us or anyone else.
- Pretend to be someone else, or give false details to get Pro, a trial or a refund.
2. What we may do
If you break this policy we may, depending on how serious it is:
- turn off your connector link (you can make a new one);
- limit or pause a feature;
- suspend or close your account, as set out in the Terms of Use.
We will tell you why and give you a chance to put things right first, unless the risk to others or the law means we can't. If you think we got it wrong, reply to our message and we will look again.
3. Reporting a problem
Email hello@setsage.co.uk to report:
- a connector link you think someone else has (also turn it off in the app straight away);
- a security weakness;
- misuse of SetSage;
- anything in the app that could cause harm.
Tell us what happened, when, and how to reach you. Never send us your connector link.
4. Making a complaint
We want to put things right. Email hello@setsage.co.uk with:
- your name and the email address you use with SetSage;
- what went wrong, and when;
- what you would like us to do;
- your Google Play order number (it starts "GPA."), if it's about a payment.
What happens next
| Step | When |
|---|---|
| We acknowledge your complaint | Within 5 working days, and always within 30 days for complaints about your personal data, as the law requires |
| We look into it and reply with our answer | Within 30 days |
| If we need longer | We will tell you why and when to expect an answer |
We keep a record of complaints and their outcome for 2 years, so we can learn from them.
5. If you're still not happy
- About your personal data: you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.
- About a payment: Google Play handles billing. You can also ask Google for help through the Play Store.
- Other problems: Citizens Advice (England and Wales), Advice Direct Scotland or Consumerline (Northern Ireland) can give you free advice. We don't currently use an alternative dispute resolution (ADR) provider. You can also go to court, as explained in the Terms of Use.
